hi, i'm jason gardner.
i have something very
serious to talk about.
and to be honest
it's probably more
serious to me than
anyone else.
i want to talk about
trolls.
by definition, a troll
is someone who deliberately
states something untrue
or controversial
in order to deliberately
cause controversy and
disrupt the natural order.
on bitstrips, this
can be done by posting
the link to a comic
in another, usually
highly rated comic
in order to get views.
these comics are often
poorly done, with bad grammar
and extremely low quality.
which brings me to something
else i want to bring up.
from what i've seen,
most 'trolls' are actually
new users of bitstrips
that are only trying to get
recognition for their comics.
i am not defending those
who troll deliberately,
just those who do not.
what i'm saying is
that if someone is
a new user and they're
caught 'trolling', let them
know not to post links in
other comics because it's
considered trolling.
make sure you explain what
they've done wrong, instead of
just posting 'troll' or 'trololo'
in the comment section of their
comics. because frankly,
that makes you the troll.
if the person continues
to troll, or has already been
trolling for a prolonged period of
time just ignore them.
do not continue
to call them trolls
or to groan their
strips.
all you will do is
encourage their activity
and waste your own valuable
time.
and quite frankly,
i believe that is the
smarter thing to do.

i think that calling it "Trolling" is really dumb, because that is not "Trolling" it is noobs (like you said) not knowing what they are doing, or people just trying to be dumbasses.

Yeah, that's why I made this. Well, not you're case in particular, but yours was one of the ones that caught my eye. You see, in your case, you had no idea you were trolling, which is why you troll now. So, in a sense, the people who never told you thta you were trolling became the Trolls themselves. And so the Trolls of Bitstrips created a new Troll: You. It's a vicious cycle, don't you think? @coolcomix
