I'm so sorry to hear that Beth. My dad passed away when I was sixteen after a long struggle with cancer. It's a difficult thing that touches many families and takes many way too young. We should celebrate the time they had with us, touching our lives in the time they had.

wow... that really made me cry... i guess you always hope someone will beat cancer, although I know from experience that it doesn't work that way... my thoughts and prayers are with his family, and my thoughts are with you, as well beth... take care of yourself...

im so sorry beth... i never 'knew' him but i did read his series shortly after i joined.. it seems like he really kept his spirits high.
