The blindness is temporary;
he's suffered some
pretty awful head trauma
resulting in a concussion.
He's fairly lucky--it's all due
to swelling and he should
regain sight after it goes
down. He'll probably need to
wear corrective lenses for
the rest of his life, however.
What about his
other injuries?
Those are mostly lacerations and fractures, nothing that
shouldn't correct itself over time with treatment, but one
of his kidneys did fail due to malnourishment and we'll
need to remove it. He sustained other internal injuries and
he'll need surgery for those as well. We'll be prepping him
shortly.
