my 2000th strip kind of snuck up on me... since I'm most known for "Local Patrol", I thought I'd thank all you people out there and Bitstrips by giving you a peak
at the earliest version of what was
to become "Local Patrol"...
"Local Patrol" was first conceived as a sketch for the comedy group I was in called "Industrial Cardboard" in the late 1970s. It followed the crew of "the Thrip" of the solar guard as they defended earth from the attack of the colon creatures. it was impossible to stage so it had to wait and evolve all this time until I discovered Bitstrips.

YES! This is fantastic! I dig how each character has their own symbol on their chest, the goggles and character design are awesome, Sparky is cleverly made. They could always have a crossover with the Local Patrol. I would like to see these guys in action. There are lots more evolutions/revolutions to come for Local Patrol (before you know it, they will make a musical out of it, just like they did with Spiderman! http://latim
