There’s no turning back now. Tessa thought. Tessa, the tall 13 year old, adventurous girl kept walking up the dirt path. She was walking to the deserted house. Apparently this house was haunted and was abandoned because of these ghosts. Tessa smiled.There’s no way that there are ghosts here. She thought. A cooling breeze blew throw her reddish brown hair. Her Green eye’s sparkled with curiosity of what adventure awaited her. She kept putting one foot in front of the other. She made sure that she had her camera with her, just incase she did see a ghost. She looked up at the sky, the moon glowed its pale beige colour, and the clouds slowly crept over to cover the moon. Tessa thought she heard a howl. She shrugged the thought off. Maybe my mind is trying to trick me into turning back. Cassie and Skye, her best friends, dared her to come to this haunted house. There was a sudden rustle in the bushes behind her. Tessa turned around, flashing her flashlight towards the sound. She saw two light brown eyes.“Oh my god!” Tessa screamed. The brown eyes looked at her, drowning in sorrow. Tessa flashed her light near the brown eyes. She could not make out what these eyes belonged to. Tessa wondered if she should go closer to the bush or run away. She felt her pocket, just to see what she had. Her pocket contained; extra batteries for her flashlight, an army knife her dad had given her, her phone, a compass and a pen. I have nothing to find out what that was. Tessa thought sadly. She turned her head just to check if the eyes were still there. It was gone. Something rustled in the tree above her.Not this time. She thought. Tessa didn’t bother looking up; she thought it was a bird. Tessa continued up the path. Soon she could see the house as a blob in the background, she could make out some trees
