This house was built back in the early 1800's by one of my ancestors. mind, he didn't fund the structure, he was merely the architect. But...something happened here, during the building. when it was done, the man who'd commissioned the house was gone, his name erased from history, and his lands and fortunes belonged to my family. Almost immediately after, my several "greats" grandfather altered the plans and refurbished this into a finishing school for girls. The thing was he made it known he could "make problems disappear," and in that day even more than this one, people were interested. I've tracked it, Pan. It was difficult, but I managed. Did you know there are branches on dozens of family trees that just stop after the girls were sent here? You're saying your ancestor murdered people, and it's a family business? He gave me a long look. "No, I'm saying it's worse."
