For the peace sign, besides needing to move fingers in or out one by one, we would also need to be able to move them side-to-side. I do agree that it's a great idea, and we need more hand gestures, but somehow, I think custom hands will be too difficult and complex to implicate.

That would be SO cool. Than I could have little kids in the backrounds shooting eachother with "Handguns".
