This happened like two weeks ago, but I was too lazy to make it. Anyway . . .
I was reading manga like the strange otaku girl I am at the library one afternoon . . . Gakuen alice by-the-way (volume 1) (and I love this manga, don't complain)
All of a sudden, these two girls that probably thought they looked too hip for the library came walking past me and they started talking about weird puberty and growth-spurt topics.
Then they came by the manga pile and started examining it.

there is nothing wrong with chinese manga. it's called manhua, just like you call it manhwa if it's from korea. i've read some chinese manhua and it's far behind it's korean cousin and far behind nip manga. i've been reading manga since 1981... but on the topic of otaku, it's really only used by the ignorant. in japanese it means: "fat lazy home-body" so i don't consider myself otaku. nice strip idea. i would be offended too back in the day. keep on learning!
