we took a big risk meeting here...i can't be certain, but i'm sure that the government knows you survived...
that they haven't come looking for you isn't because i took great pains to hide you when i found you...but because they're scared---they threw evrything at you and lost..
i've made a lot of mistakes in this life.
denying you a chance at a normal existence won't be one of them...you are all smarter and more powerful than pretty much anyone on the planet...but you're still just children...
just babies, really.
i'm going to be in torrentville working on the reclamation project...and the sudden appearance of four children under my care will raise more suspicion..
as long as we keep
under their radar--no undue attention---we may be ok. that and some well placed blackmail. you're all legal citizens now...but our contact has to be limited...
and if you're willing, i want you to watch over them..
